Appendix A - Getting a BitBucket App Password for JENKINS

If you are using BitBucket as your Version Control Service with Jenkins, you need to provision an App Password to allow Jenkins to access your BitBucket repository. Here is how that is accomplished.
From the Login page, click on the User icon at the bottom left of the page and select Settings.
Then select App passwords
The App password page allows you to create the access password for Field 2 of the Jenkins form.
Click on Create app password
To create your new password. That brings you to the page where you setup the password Permissions:
Provide a label for this password.
The only permissions required are the Read and Write access to the Repositories.
Then click on Create to get your new password.
Your new password will look like this. Remember to write it down as you will need to enter it into the Jenkins form.
